TOSHIBA ELEVATOR (MALAYSIA) SDN.BHD. (formerly known as MS Elevators Engineering Sdn. Bhd.) was established in 1982 to supply, install, test, commission, maintain and repair TOSHIBA brand of elevators and escalators in Malaysia (including Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei). Through the vast experience from our excellent supply record of over 10,000 units of elevators and escalators, our qualified personnel are well positioned to provide comprehensive services and consultation to ensure proper design and selection of products, smooth and successful implementation of the project.
TOSHIBA ELEVATOR MANUFACTURING ASIA SDN.BHD. (formerly known as M S Elevators Sdn. Bhd.) was established in 1988 as the elevator manufacturing facility for Malaysia and the regional market. The factory is located in Prai, Penang, Malaysia. The factory has a full fledged manufacturing facility to produce and test complete lift systems. The factory is also equipped with a 35m and 65m high test tower for training, engineering development and R&D. Since its inception, the factory has formed a strong local technical team comprising of Toshiba and local engineers that work closely with Toshiba’s technical group on the transfer of technical know how, localization, quality control and new system developments. The R&D and System Design Department was established since 1998.
Both TOSHIBA ELEVATOR (MALAYSIA) SDN.BHD. and TOSHIBA ELEVATOR MANUFACTURING ASIA SDN.BHD. are fully owned by Toshiba Elevator and Building Systems Corporation, Japan (TELC), a company associated with Toshiba Corporation, Japan. The close rapport between these companies and Toshiba assures its customers of full support and access to latest Toshiba technology in elevators and escalators. Both the above mentioned companies are MS-ISO9001:2008 certified.
