This glass tower will be a cultural and economic focal point—a large-capacity elevator enables dynamic transport
A re-development project in the western area of Roppongi 1-chome, Minato Ward, Tokyo, comprises offices, residences, and an art museum on a lush, sprawling 2.4 hectares of grounds, making for a culturally-rich and vibrant townscape. At its core is an attention-grabbing all-glass striking office block named IZUMI GARDEN TOWER. There is a hotel, restaurants and cafés on the lower levels, and offices on the higher levels. This building boasts a 75-passenger observation-type shuttle elevator—Japan's largest. On the outside of the building there is also a high-speed exterior observation elevator—the first of its kind for a high-rise building in Japan.
